Crysis

Head to the difficulty files in your Crysis folder (for example:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config).
The four files you're looking for are titled diff_easy.cfg,
diff_normal.cfg, diff_hard.cfg and diff_bauer.cfg. Open the file

After making all of your edits, save the file, load up a new game
and see what you've edited!

God Mode:
---------

Locate  the  difficulty  files in your Crysis installation folder
(ie: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config).
These files  are called diff_easy.cfg, diff_normal.cfg, diff_hard.cfg
and diff_bauer.cfg. Open the file (with Notepad) that corresponds to
the difficulty level you are playing. Add the following line to the
end of the file and save it:

g_godMode = 1

Now, when playing  your health will still decrease but you will
not die. Instead, your health and armor will automatically replenish
when your health reaches 0.

Unlimited Ammo:
---------------
Using the same method as above, add the following line to the end
of your config file:

i_unlimitedammo = 1

Your ammo will be frozen in the game.

NOTE: ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE OVERWRITING GAME FILES.

Developer Mode Cheats:
----------------------

Start the game with the command-line shortcut of -DEVMODE.
This will enable new cheat keys that can be used in the game.

Example: "C:\Program Files\Crysis\bin32\Crysis.exe" -DEVMODE

Code           Result
---------------------
F1           - Toggle First/Third Person View
F2           - Jump to Next Checkpoint
F3           - Toggle Fly Mode/Ghost Mode
F10          - Jump to Previous Checkpoint
NUMPAD 1     - Give Missile Launcher, Shotgun, Alien MOAC
NUMPAD 2     - Unlimited Ammo
NUMPAD ENTER - DEBUG MENU

In addition to these cheats keys, you can now use the console by
pressing ` (tilde) and typing any of the following commands:

Code                  Result:
-------------------------------
r_displayinfo 0     - Remove Debug/Devmode Info from Screen
g_godmode 1         - God Mode
i_noweaponlimit 1   - Carry Unlimited Weapons
i_unlimitedammo 1   - Unlimited Ammo
i_giveallitems      - Give All Weapons
g_suitSpeedMult = 2 - Faster Speed
V_goliathmode 1     - Indestructible Vehicles (Affects Enemies Too)

Killing KPA soldiers:
---------------------
When you attack while in Cloak mode, you instantly lose all your energy.
Instead, go to Armor mode (not Strength mode as this takes up energy when
you attack), quickly shoot a soldier in the head, then go back to Cloak
mode. They will not see you and you will still have all your energy (and
even may gain 1 to 3 %). While you are transitioning to Armor mode, you
will have a few seconds where you are still invisible to the enemy, which
allows you to adjust if you are sniping. Even if you reach your time limit
that you are invisible after turning off Cloak mode, you can still shoot
around and might get away with not being seen as they sometimes panic and
move around too much to notice you. You can use this to stay in a stationary
location that the A.I. does not touch and easily take out a large group,
(such as the area directly below a watch tower).

Defeating Alien Troopers:
-------------------------
Use the following trick to kill Alien Troopers without shooting. When the
Alien Troopers jump in the air and levitate shortly doing nothing, they are
about to charge at you, which may kill you in one hit. When they do this,
get out of the way. When they charge and miss, there will be a moment where
they are idle. Run up to them, grab, and throw them. This may be slightly
difficult at certain angles. The moment you throw them they will die (under
the Easy difficulty setting at least).

Faster start:
-------------
To start the game without the introduction videos, rename the following files
in the "\Crysis\Game\Localized\Video" directory: "Trailer_NVidia.sfd",
"Trailer_Intel.sfd", "Trailer_EA.sfd", "Trailer_CrytekC.sfd", and
"Trailer_Crytek.sfd".

Unlimited Nightvision:
----------------------
Enter the following commands into the cheat console:
hud_nightVisionConsumption = 0
hud_nightVisionRecharge = 999

Item names:
-----------
Use one of the following case-sensitive entries with the i_giveitem code to
spawn the item.

-----------------------------------

Additional Rockets and Precision Rifle in Level 2: Recovery:
------------------------------------------------------------

Level 2: Recovery, Delta Difficulty Setting. There's a rocket launcher at the
roadblock where there's a truckful of KPA. There's also a rocket launcher and
a Precision Rifle leaning by the back wall outside of the house at the radar
station. There's also at least two rocket launchers at a small white building
adjacent to the town hall (KPA HQ). There's also one rocket launcher at the
gas station cash register. Along with the rocket launchers in the school, those
two tanks are easy meat. There's also enough Precision Rifle ammo at the 2nd
floor pillbox of the KPA HQ to max out.
